Step 3: Disconnect Utilities & Temporary Support. Before any demolition, all electrical, plumbing, and HVAC within the wall are carefully disconnected and rerouted as per the new design. If it's a load-bearing wall, temporary structural supports are put in place to safely hold the load of the structure above. This step is critical for safety and can take a day or two depending on the utilities involved.
Step 4: Demolition & Debris Removal. With utilities managed and supports in place, the wall comes down! Our team carefully demolishes the wall, managing the debris efficiently. Step 5: Structural Reinforcement & Framing. If a load-bearing wall was removed, a new header or beam is installed to permanently support the structure above. Step 6: Finishing Touches & Inspections.
